There was a rock singer who knew this deacon for many years. The singer was a wretched sinner but this Christian friend never once talked to him about his experience with Christ.
The rock star was converted and saw his friend. “How come you never talked to me about Jesus? The man replied, “I’m sorry, I just didn’t think God could ever save you.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Again, there is no sinner or backslider to far from From God that He can’t save them!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the scandal’s during Jesus life, He was a friend of sinners, meaning He sat sown with them, talked and eat with them. He really showed compassion to them and he genuinely cared tor them.
Be a friend to sinners, you don’t have to compromise God’s laws and principles, but be there for them, talk to them and as opportunity comes your way, let know what the Lord is doing in your life. One day you might see that person change and become a Christian believer because you were willing to take some time to be a friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
